NEWS RELEASES

July 15, 2009: Geauga Fair Announces New Pre-Sale Fair Pass

New for 2009 - the Great Geauga County Fair has made available a 5 admission pre-sale pass for $25.00 a $10.00 savings off general admission.  The pass can be purchased online or at the Fair Office . 

The office is open from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesdays and 8:30 to 4:00 P.M. (Monday – Fridays) starting August 3. 

July 15, 2009: Help Wanted at the Geauga Fair

Interviewing for ticket takers, ticket sellers and parking attendants will be on Saturday, July 25, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum age 18 years old. Interviews will take place in Treasurers Office at the Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton, Ohio.

July 15, 2009: Deadline set for Geauga Fair Entries

The deadline to exhibit at this years Great Geauga County Fair is August 12, 2009.  All entries must be postmarked or turned in to the Fair Office by 3:00 P.M. on or before that day.  No late entries will be accepted.  Entries may also be made online

New for 2009 – anyone wishing to enter the miniature horse show, haflinger halter show, donkey show, or the Hitch classes on the Sunday/Monday pony shows must pre-enter by August 12, 2009 as well.   

May 22, 2009: Antiques at the Fairground

Burton-Ohio…. The Great Geauga County fair will host the Geauga Antiques Market on June 6, 2009. The one day annual event is held twice a year in June and September. Drawing nearly 300 antiques dealers from across the United States. General admission is $6.00 starting at 9:30 a.m. with an early bird admission of $20.00 starting at day break.  Parking is free and food is available.  Come and enjoy a look at the past and take home a treasure along the way.
